DAY 01 TRISSUR AND DRIVE TO GURUVAYOOR
You will be picking from Trissur and drive to Guruvayoor (02 ½ Hrs drive); on arrival check-in into hotel. Afternoon proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Guruvayoor - a thriving township in Trichur district, Guruvayoor is known for its scenic beauty and serenity. The place is noted for the Guruvayurappan Temple, Anakotta - Guruvayoor Devaswam elephant sanctuary -one of the largest elephant sanitarium in all over the world. Also known as Punnathurkotta, Anakotta is 3 km far from Guruvayoor Temple. Evening Darshan at Guruvayoor Temple. Overnight stay in Guruvayoor.
DAY 02 GURUVAYOOR TO COCHIN.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin (03 Hrs) on the way visit to Vadakkumnatha Temple, Thrissur. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay is arranged in Cochin.
DAY 03 COCHIN TO MUNNAR
After breakfast proceed to Munnar on the Way visit to Chottanikkara Devi Temple (famous temple of the Hindu mother goddess Bhagavathi) , on arrival check into hotel later spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India.. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
DAY 04 MUNNAR
After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar
DAY 05 MUNNAR TO ALLEPPEY
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey (05 Hrs) on the way Visit to Ambalapuzha Srikrishna Temple, check n to hotel. Alleppey is an important backwater destination attracting thousands of tourists every year, who come all the way to enjoy Alleppey for what it offers. Referred to as the Venice of the East, the place is home to diverse animal and bird life. Alleppey is also famous for its beaches, marine products, coir industry and boat races. A singularity of this land is the region called KUTTANAD – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Overnight stay is at Alleppey.
DAY 06 ALLEPPEY TO TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast, check out from the Hotel Trivandrum (04 Hrs Drive); on arrival check-in into hotel. Evening visit to Sri Padmanabhaswami Temple and Pazhavangzdi Ganapathi Temple . Overnight is to be spent at hotel
DAY 07 TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast check out from the Hotel, morning visit to Attukal Bhagavathi temple and drive to Trivandrum Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holyday you spent in the God's Own Country.
