Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1
Chennai – Chidambaram
Upon arrival at Chennai Airport, Railway Station, or Hotel, proceed to Chidambaram (235 km / approx. 5 hrs). Visit the famous Nataraja Temple, one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams representing the element of Space (Akasha). Later, enjoy an optional boat ride through the scenic Pichavaram Mangrove Forest. Check in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Chidambaram.
Day 2
Chidambaram – Kumbakonam – Thanjavur
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kumbakonam. Visit the sacred Adi Kumbeswarar Temple, Sarangapani Temple, UNESCO-listed Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram, Swamimalai Murugan Temple, and Oppiliappan Temple. Later, continue to Thanjavur, check in to the hotel, and relax. Overnight stay at Thanjavur.
Day 3
Thanjavur – Trichy
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Brihadeeswarar Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by the Thanjavur Royal Palace and Art Gallery. Later, drive to Trichy and visit the renowned Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam and the sacred Jambukeswarar Temple at Thiruvanaikaval. Check in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Trichy.
Day 4
Trichy Sightseeing – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the iconic Rockfort Ucchi Pillayar Temple. Later, transfer to Trichy Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand for your onward journey with cherished memories of your temple and heritage tour.
